What are some inspirational/motivational quotes for someone overcoming an addiction?
I’d rather not say what kind of addiction, but I want to be there for him.
I’d love if the quotes came from the Bible, along with what verse it’s from. But if it’s not, it’s fine. I plan on giving him a list of quotes in a few days, or maybe a quote a day to help him along.

People aren’t always addicted to something because they want to be.

in what way does lil wayne glow like buddah?
he says it in one song. i know he’s the greatest rapper ever and a god on his own (his lyrics are divine and more inspirational an motivational and deeper than any verse in the bible, but in what way does he glow like buddah? is he buddah? i can see the resemblance and he probably is a god of some kind. also is nicki minaj his daughter? she is the hottest girl ever so it’s only fitting that he produced something like that.

6.Since millions of people claim that their lives changed when they applied to their lives the principles found in the Bible, do you see the Bible as a self-help/motivational book?

3. Don’t have kids but sure. I don’t believe in censorship, but there’s some pretty awful graphic stuff in there that little kids shouldn’t be reading.

6. It may have helped many, but it has also warped many. It has just as many…or more… Horrible principles and examples as it does good ones. Please don’t ask me to list them, or I will.

How about a description of the structure of the human genome (it only needs 4 letters after all) ?
How about an accurate description of the cosmos including the process of fusion and the concept of E=mc(sq). And an explanation of dark energy, dark matter and black holes. Though, while incomprehensible to the people who wrote the Bible, none of those would actually prove it’s the Word of God…just that some higher intelligence had definitely been dictating.
How about a firm prediction that was indisputably true? Say…a verse translated intact from antiquity stating “Yea verily…the lord god hath spoke that the 8th day of the 9th month of the 2009 year in the way of their counting I will make the stars brighten to spell out: I am the Lord your God bow down and worship me”
Now THAT would get my attention.
