I am going to print out some motivational quotes I wrote for myself, What do you think?
I am going to officemax to print out some motivational quotes and cut it up using a scissor and put them in different rooms in my apartment. I grew up in a violent abusive household.My mom and dad were yellers and I grew up with depression, anxiety , narcissm, social anxiety, sex addiction, cigarette addiction. I am aware of everything. But good news is that I am fighting them all and building a stronger mind every day. But i recently broke up with my gf and things are kind of looking bleak. I feel very depressed. So as a picker upper I wrote some inspiring things just for myself . I am gonna print it out and cut it up and put them of different parts of my studio apartment.
Here’s what i have so far. Please let me know if there is anything else I can add to it.

Hi, I feel for what you are going through very much! I honestly don’t know if I would do the note thing at all, why? Well because I think that all these “reminders” are going to actually put you deeper into a depression. You are writing them to pick yourself up and when you see that you haven’t changed your room around, or logged off yahoo, or defraged your compute er, and even to think positive and you are having a hard time with doing that then it will get you even more down on yourself, it is going to be a constant reminder of what you haven’t done. Do you see my point? Here is what I want you to do, keep a journal EVERYDAY beside your bed or somewhere you can keep it so that you can write down everything POSITIVE that happened during the day. There can not be any negatives in this book at all and it is not a diary, so to speak. Some days it may seem like there wasn’t any positives that happened, but once you really start to think about them and your focus at the end of the day turns from negative thought to positive, then your entire state of mind will change. A positive could be that you didn’t have to wait in line to get your coffee today, someone smiled at me when I walked down the street, I didn’t get a bill in the mail today, I got out of bed and watched a great show, I smiled at myself in the mirror and meant it, anything. You will really start to see the world in a different light, and that is what you want. Right?

I want to put them under my desk mat at work to keep me smiling and to keep a positive attitude at this hell hole!! lol… I am the only girl in an office of 12… PLEASE HELP!!

Motivational quotes for someone in college?
my friend (guy) says he feels very unmotivated and ick about this college term because he hasn’t done a lot, and i think he’s still down from getting a 3.0 or something last quarter. I want to send him a postcard with one motivational quote that would make him happy or smile. i’ve lookd through a few but i hvent found what i’m looking for. something specific to someone who wants to but isn’t motivated to work for a bright future; someone who needs a push.
also, he’s a little unsure about his major. the message i want to send is kind of to work hard and keep trying, its ok to fail and that something good will come out of it eventually
something specific woud be for example, a heartbreak: “when sadness cascades your life, shakes your heart, and takes away your most precious thing, tell your heart, this too shall pass” it’s specific and would cheer a broken heart up a little

Motivational quotes to inspire you to become stronger?
I am planning on getting a tattoo, and for this tattoo i would like to have a quote, a small enough one to fit on the side of my foot.
as a child i was treated horribly by my mother, and i still am today. she constantly puts me down, hurts me, insults me, and makes me cry. she tells me she hates me and wishes i was never around. i wanted to get a tattoo of a quote to remind myself that im only getting stronger each day and that there is always a bright side to life…
so far i have two that im really interested in getting
this one is my first choice: “To become stronger than I was yesterday.” (at the end i kinda want to put ‘that is my goal’ but im not sure if that would work.)
my second choice is by hellen keller: “Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of overcoming it.” (i think this one is a little to long though)
if you have any ideas for a better quote i’d love to hear them! and if you have any edits to the 1st 2 quotes id love to see them aswell
