Do you know of any – or where I can find any – motivational quotes or words of wisdom?
I’ve been in a rut for a long while, and now and again, I’ve come across something in a magazine or even in TV commercials that suddenly motivates me or gives me a little confidence, but my mind isn’t doing all that well with retention lately so I’ve forgotten them when I need to remember them. If anyone could offer some sources then, I would greatly appreciate it. The only request I have is that it not be overly…’spiritual’ or ‘fantastical’…I can’t think of the right word for it all of a sudden, but I mean that blunt, straight to the point, harsh truths – those are the kinds of quotes that work best for a cynic like me.

I work in a small restaurant where everyone is usually pretty close. Things have been stressful for everyone lately for a lot of different reasons. A lot of us can’t help but sometimes thinking “Is this worth it?” or “What is happening, things used to be so much better”. I’m trying to find a good motivational quote that when my coworkers, as well as myself, look at it their minds can ease and can think “It will all be ok, I can do it”. I haven’t found anything yet that really hits the spot. Any ideas? I want to frame it and hang it up in the kitchen.
